Nominations should include

  • One or more letters of nomination, two pages maximum
  • The nominee's Curriculum Vitae
  • A statement from the nominee, describing his or her accomplishments in the field of mood disorders research, five pages maximum.

Please note: Upon initial submission of nomination materials for consideration as a Mood Disorders Award candidate, nominators may elect to keep candidates on the slate for consideration the subsequent year if they are not selected as the awardee. A candidate who is not selected as the awardee the second time they are on the slate of candidates will be put on a two-year hiatus during which they will not be eligible for nomination. At the conclusion of the two-year hiatus, they are again eligible to be nominated for two consecutive years.
